2011 AFP INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON FUNDRAISING
To help individuals serving nonprofit organizations develop their knowledge and skill in fundraising, the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy sponsors the Chamberlain Scholarship Program. The Chamberlain Scholarship honors the memory of Ralph E. Chamberlain, CFRE. AFP Chapters may name one grant recipient per year. The AFP Foundation for Philanthropy will cover the registration fee for Chamberlain Scholars (note: scholars are responsible for a $10 payment to secure the registration). Travel and lodging are not covered by the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy. However, depending on local resources, some chapters may award additional scholarship funds from their own treasuries. Chamberlain scholarship recipients must be chosen by local chapters and the recipient's name must be reported to AFP International Headquarters by November 1, 2010. All Chamberlain Scholars qualify for the discount conference registration rate regardless of when they register. Chamberlain Scholars are responsible for registering themselves for the conference and for making all travel and lodging arrangements. Please make certain that you use the SPECIAL Chamberlain Scholars registration form that you will receive from IHQ. Chapters will select their Chamberlain Scholar(s) based on the following criteria, which are established by the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy and may be supplemented by criteria set by the local AFP chapter:
