Murray Banks is one of the nation’s most prominent speakers in the area of lifestyle and its impact on performance. And, as an honored educator and world class athlete, he knows something about performance.
Murray Banks is a passionate teacher. He was honored as Vermont’s Teacher Of The Year and received national recognition as an Outstanding Educator.
At the same time he was garnering educational honors, he was winning his first of four national championships in the triathlon. In 1984, he took a leave from teaching to focus on training for the Ironman Triathlon World Championship in Hawaii. Two times he has been one of the top finishers in the World Championship and his success there led to his present career as a professional speaker.
Murray’s presentations are a fast moving blend of facts, stories, quotes and incredible visuals. Whether it is leadership, customer service, dealing with change or teamwork & morale, Murray will connect your life to your work. “Your life comes to work with you and leaks out all day!” is the perfect starting point for his presentations.
For 17 years, Murray has designed presentations for conferences and seminars that inspire and challenge his audiences to bring the adaptability, enthusiasm and pro-active mind set to colleagues and customers each day. His keynotes have been presented to thousands at conventions such as the Million Dollar Roundtable and his interactive seminars to work teams at small, family businesses.
Murray lives in the beautiful green mountains of Vermont with his wife Janie and sons, Jeff and Steve, where they enjoy skiing, hiking and Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream.
