Dan Heath is the co-author, along with his brother Chip, of the new book Switch: How to Change Things When Change is Hard. Previously, the Heath brothers wrote Made to Stick, which was named one of the 100 best business books of all time. It stayed on the BusinessWeek bestseller for 24 months, and it has been translated into 30 languages, the last of which was Slovak.
Dan is currently a Senior Fellow at Duke University's CASE Center, which supports social entrepreneurs. He co-authors a monthly column for Fast Company magazine and has taught and consulted with organizations such as Microsoft, Macy's, and the American Heart Association.
A former researcher for Harvard Business School and the co-founder of a textbook publishing firm in Austin called Thinkwell, Dan now lives in Raleigh, NC. A proud geeky moment for Dan was his victory in the 2005 New Yorker Cartoon Caption context, beating out 13,000 other entrants.
