Hotels
Be where the action is by staying at a hotel that is part of the official AFP hotel block! These hotels have been chosen for their quality of accommodations as well as for their convenient close proximity to the conference events.
Booking your hotel room is done when signing up for your conference registration.   Staying at an AFP conference hotel will give you an opportunity to network with fellow conference attendees.  See below for the list of hotels on the AFP hotel block.  The room rate includes a minimal subsidy to offset conference costs.

Transportation

Whether you're travelling by plane, foot, bus, or Amtrak - San Diego is a breeze to get around. Navigating to, from and around the city is simple.  There are a number of public transportation services available to you at any given time when you need to get to and from the Airport.

Airport
San Diego International Airport/Lindbergh Field is conveniently located just ten minutes from downtown San Diego and serviced by 22 major and commuter airlines, San Diego International Airport receives more than 16 million passengers a year.

Taxis
Many companies provide taxicab service at San Diego International Airport. If you need a taxi, simply follow the signs leading to the Transportation Plazas. A Transportation Coordinator will place you with the first available taxi – unless you specify a particular taxicab company.

Amtrak and Coaster
Amtrak Intercity and Coaster commuter trains link communities and travelers from as far away as Los Angeles and Orange Counties to downtown San Diego and coastal North County and, includes stops in Old Town, Sorrento Valley, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Carlsbad and Oceanside.
